FISHING THE ISLAND OF 'ESPIRITU SANTO'

It’s no secret that the islands of Vanuatu have some of the most exciting and memorable fishing grounds to offer.
On each trip we will set off from the east coast of Santo. You will be fishing from the comfort of our brand new custom designed 27ft centre console. Powered by a reliable 225HP Mercury Seapro 4.6L V8. The boat is decked out with the latest Sonar technology with Simrad NNS Evo 3 paired with a powerful Airmar TM275LHW transducer.
As the trip begins, our guides will take you to some of our prime GPS marks. This consists of various reef ledges, seamounts, drop offs and FADs. We will utilise different fishing techniques throughout the day ranging from Trolling, Jigging and Top Water.Your guide and deckhand will go above and beyond every trip to maximise your fishing experience. You could be setting hooks on some of our local species within minutes.
FISHING SEASONS & TARGET SPECIES
The fishing in Vanuatu never slows down, your rod will be bending all year round.
Seasons can be broken down to factor in weather, wind and specific targetable species.

January - April
The weather is warm, the wind is down and the Big GT's are eager to test your gear.
You should be prepared for Dogtooth action and big Yellowfin Tuna. Reef species such as Dino Trout, Red Bass and Green Job Fish will also be eager for your lures, these reef fish are available all year round.
May - August
Humidity and temperature begin to ease. The East trade winds arrive providing ocean breeze over the next few months. Water temps drop slightly welcoming a wider variety of species. These months will produce Sailfish , Wahoo, Mahi Mahi and Yellowfin Tuna. The GT's and Dogtooth Tuna are also ready to hit your lures.
September - December
Our winter months are coming to end with temperatures and humidity on the rise again. Winds are settling down, fish are active and ready to bring the action. A wide variety of species available; Dogtooth Tuna, Yellowfin, GT's and plenty of large hungry reef fish. Vanuatu is truly special and offers amazing weather and fishing year round.
